Chase Contemporary is pleased to announce the opening of Subject and Object, a two-decade retrospective of the work of the Chinese-American painter Liu Shuishi. Liu Shuishi is an expressionist painter and installation artist based in New York who is known for his contemplative abstract paintings. The selection of works in this exhibition focus around philosophical approaches to the concept of identity. An opening reception with the artist will be held on Thursday, November 17, from 6-9 pm.
